OTTAWA, CANADA: Elliptic Technologies, a leading supplier of mobile and network security IP and solutions, announced that it will exhibit at the Embedded Technology 2011 Conference to be held on November 16-18 at the PACIFICO YOKOHAM in Yokohama, Japan. Elliptic will demonstrate its latest DRM and Content Protection technology including DTCP-IP running on an Android platform at Booth # D-41.

Digital media is being rapidly adopted as the primary consumer electronic distribution medium. The technical demands of the digital home and the need to deliver and protect rich video and audio content have increased dramatically. Elliptic’s DTCP-IP and HDCP 2.0 SDKs offer complete and robust security solutions that have been optimized for Android embedded systems, and can run efficiently in limited resource environments.

These proven content protection solutions can be implemented within frameworks such as ARM TrustZone, where security critical components are embedded and executed in trusted environments, and non-critical components are executed by the host OS, such as Android.

The Embedded Technology 2011 is the world’s largest trade show and conference for embedded system designers and managers. The event introduces advanced technologies and solutions for emerging embedded applications, including digital consumer electronics, automotive, wireless/ubiquitous computing and factory automation.
