Cassidian to demo end-to-end integrated multimedia communications at IWCE 2013

USA: Cassidian Communications, an EADS North America company, will participate as a premier partner in the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) 2013 event taking place March 11-15 in Las Vegas, Nev.

The company will also make a major announcement on the opening day of the annual expo on Monday, March 11, 2013.

A highlight of the Cassidian Communications booth, #1917, will be the popular "call-to-car" demonstration, which showcases the company's NG9-1-1 call taking solutions interworking with its LTE devices, clients and applications for the delivery of integrated voice, data and video communications from the initial 9-1-1 call to response in the field.

"The next generation of public safety communications will rely on the seamless integration of systems, applications and devices," said Francois Begaud, COO of Cassidian Communications' Land Mobile Radio/LTE division. "We are committed to working with our customers to increase the integration and management of mission-critical communications through the entire emergency response lifespan, while also offering our customers choice and value."

The Cassidian Communications booth will also include demonstrations of the VESTA/Sentinel 4 NG9-1-1 call taking system, featuring an all-new, highly configurable and vastly intuitive user interface (UI). This all new UI is considered a primary building block within the company's next generation public safety communications platform.

In addition, visitors to Cassidian Communications' booth will see demonstrations of CORP25, the company's open, standards-compliant LMR system, along with The Communicator! NXT and GeoCast Web emergency notification platforms and the company's solution for interoperable LTE-P25 voice communications.
