USA: Tely Labs − maker of the award-winning telyHD video calling system – has expanded its family of video calling appliances with new Enterprise Edition incorporating support for Blue Jeans Network , the global leader in cloud-based interoperable video conferencing services.
Users of Tely Labs’ affordable, room-based telyHD or telyHD Business Edition video calling appliances can be upgraded to the new Enterprise Edition to allow them to join a Blue Jeans meeting using the simple, on-screen interface. The Blue Jeans service provides seamless interconnectivity with the many enterprise room-based videoconferencing systems, desktop systems, mobile devices and Web browsers that are part of a broad and growing ecosystem of video enabled devices.
“Interoperability is one of the key requirements of video conferencing, and we are very pleased to extend our network by including telyHD video calling appliances,” said Stu Aaron, chief commercial officer, Blue Jeans Network. “By delivering affordable HD video calling and collaboration to conference rooms everywhere, Tely Labs is addressing an underserved market in the enterprise as well as SMB markets, and extending the reach of the Blue Jeans service.”
Blue Jeans Network is the leading provider of interoperable video conferencing services, connecting users that have access to a Web browser and camera, or who make use of business or consumer video solutions from Cisco, Polycom, LifeSize, Skype, Microsoft Lync, or Google. Tely Labs Enterprise Edition provides businesses with reliable, secure video conferencing options at a fraction of the cost and complexity of traditional enterprise systems.
“Tely Labs Enterprise Edition combines easy interoperability with legacy videoconferencing solutions with a very affordable appliance platform,” said Sreekanth Ravi, Tely Labs CEO. “And because Tely Labs devices now support Blue Jeans and SIP as well as Skype™, they can be used for video calls to a very broad set of devices, from smartphones and tablets to the high-end video conferencing systems in use in enterprise boardrooms today.”
Tely Labs and Blue Jeans will demonstrate the telyHD Enterprise Edition at Enterprise Connect Conference & Exhibition in Tely Labs Booth #113 and Blue Jeans Booth #1337. The exhibition will take place March 18-20, 2013 at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, FL.
The telyHD Enterprise Edition is now available through Tely Labs’ growing network of authorized resellers. Enterprise Edition is sold as a software upgrade to Tely Labs’ flagship telyHD and telyHD Business Edition appliances, and is priced at $299, with a $199 annual renewal fee from the second year onward.
