Dolby Digital Plus delivers surround sound for online content with Cyberlink PowerDVD 11 Ultra

SAN FRANCISCO, USA: Dolby Laboratories Inc. announced that Cyberlink PowerDVD 11 Ultra supports playback of online entertainment content featuring Dolby Digital Plus surround sound.

Dolby Digital Plus enables premium audio, delivering the compelling cinematic surround sound experiences that content creators intended. Efficient and flexible, Dolby Digital Plus complements HD video delivery and supports up to 7.1 channels of audio. As online entertainment evolves, Dolby Digital Plus allows for playback compatibility with existing and future home entertainment equipment.
