YAVNE, ISRAEL: ORBOTECH Ltd announced that it has received initial customer acceptances for its new Generation 8 EVision FPD-AOI system. Revenues from sales of these systems that were delivered by March 31, 2011, which are estimated to total approximately $20 million in value, will be recognized during the first quarter of 2011.
As previously announced, the company expects that revenues in the first half of 2011 will be in the range of $280 - $300 million. Of these, approximately $130 million are expected to be recorded in the first quarter. To date, there has been no impact on the Company’s business as a result of the recent tragic events in Japan and the Company continues to monitor these developments closely.
