USA: DuPont Building Innovations recently expanded its popular mySurface iPhone application (app) to the Apple iPad platform, making it the first DuPont app for the iPad.
“We were the first in the industry to have an app for iPhone users, and now we’re expanding our reach with a new iPad app,” said Tim McCann, president of DuPont Building Innovations. “To make it even easier for our customers, both our iPad and iPhone versions now have improved search functionality, a fresh selection of photos in the design gallery, and sharing tools for posting colors and images to Facebook and Twitter right from the application.”
With the iPad app, homeowners can match countertop colors with their kitchen and bath walls and cabinets. Likewise, architects and designers can visualize surface color and texture while on the job, in any location, for any design scenario.
“The mySurface app has generated interest among homeowners, architects and designers who tell us it inspires them to experiment and imagine the design possibilities of DuPont surfaces,” McCaan said. “So far, more than 15,000 users have downloaded the mySurface app, and they literally now have our brands at their fingertips every day.”
The mySurface app works by allowing users to search for DuPont Corian solid surface and DuPont Zodiaq quartz surface colors by hue, providing a color swatch that fills the screen along with options to share or save the color. The mySurface app is available for free in the App Store of 68 countries and in multiple languages for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
