Elektrobit opens office In Romania for automotive software development

ROMANIA: Elektrobit (EB), a leading developer of cutting edge embedded technology solutions for the automotive and wireless industries, announced an expansion in Brasov, Romania, with plans to grow its local team to more than 100 software developers over time.

The new Brasov office will focus on automotive software product development and testing. Christian Drothler has been appointed managing director of EB Automotive Romania SRL. He previously was responsible for managing ECU (Electronic Control Units) development and customer projects at EB in Germany.

"With the office opening in Brasov, Romania, EB expands its engineering operations to Eastern Europe, and plans to generate over 100 jobs for software development engineers in the region with a focus on navigation and ECU software and testing," said Drothler.

"Our goal is to create a strong development and testing base for our products, and position EB as one of the major companies providing employment opportunities in Brasov."
