CANADA: Panasonic Canada Inc. announced its most advanced IP business communications server, the KX-NS1000, for the small to medium size business market. The new system will simplify and improve communications while lowering costs with greater flexibility.
The KX-NS1000 is built on SIP and IP technologies with powerful desktop tools, high-definition voice quality, powerful software applications such as the Customer Interaction system, Conferencing Bridge and Call Centre. It offers a high level of flexibility that can be integrated into existing business infrastructure which will result in significant cost savings for small and medium size businesses.

Tailoring the new KX-NS1000 to each customer’s specific needs will mean cost-effective solutions to the ever changing communications needs of the SMB users. The powerful VoIP solution represents a secure investment offering optimum reliability and flexibility allowing customers the ability of adding new software applications. Voice and fax messages, emails and even the integration with Microsoft Outlook and other similar applications can be received using the built-in Unified Messaging system. With integrated unified messaging, Smartphones and tablets can also be seamlessly and fully integrated.”
Panasonic also introduced a new line of IP and SIP desktop and wireless terminals to compliment the NS1000 network server. The new wireless terminals include business style and compact IP65 compliant (rated for protection against dust and water spray) models. The KX-UT670 desktop terminal features a 7-inch touch screen and allows users to run their own applications such as Call Centre or hospitality applications.
Based on IP network technologies, the KX-NS1000 combines advanced telephony with an adaptable framework of applications for almost every business type. It will make communications simpler for office workers as well as mobile, remote and home-based staff in businesses as diverse as call centres and distribution warehouses.
The KX-NS1000 will be available to Canadian businesses beginning in April, 2013.
