Legacy Electronics completes phase 1 of move and expansion to Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, USA: Jason Engle, Legacy Electronics’ chief executive officer, announced that the company has completed Phase 1 of its move from San Clemente, Calif. to Sioux Falls, S.D., including installation, calibration and qualification of this location’s first electronics component production line. Several new employees have been hired, with more hiring in the process.

Engle first announced in mid-February that Legacy was expanding to Sioux Falls, and moving its sales and administrative offices. Then in March, the firm revealed the location of its new 40,000-square-foot manufacturing facilities just outside Sioux Falls.

“Now we’ve completed the install and production test of our first manufacturing line, and plan mass production this month,” stated Engle. “It’s exciting to have our first ‘built in South Dakota’ finished products. Also, we’re very happy with the great new employees we’ve hired thus far, and the employees transferring from San Clemente. If you visit our website, you’ll see several other positions we’re actively filling.”
