Arrow ECS, EcoLogic join forces for VDI optimisation

HARROGATE, ENGLAND: Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a business segment of Arrow Electronics Inc., reached a commercial agreement with EcoLogic Systems Ltd. to add virtual desktop infrastructure optimisation-as-a-service to its portfolio in the United Kingdom. The agreement represents one of the first channel alliances addressing VDI deployments through managed services.

The VDI OaaS solution is a fully integrated service providing network optimisation for improved performance for end users. Available through a monthly service subscription, the Arrow ECS service features a virtualised optimisation application integrated with a quality-of-service bridge that offers Layer 7 visibility.
