Agama extends DTV monitoring solution with analytics applications
LINKOPING, SWEDEN: Agama Technologies, the video service quality assurance expert, announced it is adding mission-focused analytics applications to its industry-leading Agama DTV Monitoring Solution at IBC2014.
By focusing on specific use cases, such as device troubleshooting, change management and content offering optimisation, these applications enable new insights for TV operators in a fast, interactive and efficient way.
Today's sophisticated video delivery and service monitoring solutions, especially those covering customer viewing devices, generate vast amounts of data. By applying mission-focused analytics with built-in domain specific knowledge to this data, it is possible to efficiently create a multitude of valuable insights for TV operators.
These insights should provide significant bottom-line savings if used to support continuous service quality improvements, trend analyses and other processes reliant on discovering patterns based on often complex, non-obvious relations. The key, however, is to be able to extract relevant actionable insights from the wealth of data and not get stuck in the sheer mass of it.
