RIO RANCHO, USA: Alta Data Technologies (Alta) announced the release of two new products for PCI Express systems: Mini PCI Express (F1) MPCIE-A429 and One Lane, Low Profile PCIE1L-A429 interface cards. These products provide shared ARINC-429/575 RX/TX channels and support ARINC-573/717 standard and include a modular software development kit, AltaAPI, which provides maximum portability between platforms and operating systems.
“The new MPCIE-A429 and PCIE1L-A429 cards, based on our proven AltaCore-ARINC protocol engine, are the first mini PCI Express and Low Profile cards in the industry, ideal for highly embedded, notebooks and edge servers. We implemented a native PCI Express design for increased performance and MSI interrupt support. The mini PCI Express card (MPCIE-A429) is a full F1 compliant design ideal for highly embedded, notebook or tablet computers. The low profile, single lane PCIE1L-A429 is designed for 1U/2U servers and computers with limited PCI Express slot lane options,” says Jake Haddock, CTO of Alta.
Harry Wild, VP of Sales, adds: “These new ARINC-429/575/573/717 cards prove once again that Alta is not satisfied resting on old legacy designs. We want to provide our customers new, innovative designs that widen their system design options, including many of the new exciting single board computers (SBC) and tablet computers. Coupled with our advanced software packages, AltaAPI, and Windows AltaView analyzer, these new products provide the most advanced feature set in the avionics market. The A/D signal capture and signal generators are industry-leading features not found on other products. We also offer single-card combination ARINC and 1553 PCI Express Configurations, and our new Ethernet eNet-1553 product provides real-time 1553 to Ethernet connectivity.”
