MANHATTAN BEACH, USA: Morphlabs, the leader in converged Dynamic Infrastructure Services for the enterprise, announced a strategic partnership with Telx, a network-neutral interconnection and colocation leader.
The partnership supports Morphlabs’ goal of providing a global platform for delivering the ideal hosted private cloud solution to the enterprise. Morphlabs also announced it is the first cloud provider to join the MEF (Metro Ethernet Forum), the defining body for Carrier Ethernet. The MEF’s mission is to accelerate the worldwide adoption of Carrier-class Ethernet networks and services.
By partnering with Telx and joining the MEF, Morphlabs is furthering its commitment to optimizing access to cloud resources around the globe with the mCloud Data Center Unit (DCU), in this case by employing Carrier Ethernet exchanges. Now, enterprises can leverage Morphlabs’ Dynamic Resource Scaling (DRS) technology to scale computes and storage on dedicated hardware on-demand -- not only locally, but also remotely via a Carrier Ethernet exchange.
“The turnkey nature of Morphlabs’ mCloud DCU solution makes it a great fit for us -- instantly bringing true Dynamic Infrastructure Services to our customers,” said Darryl Brown, director of cloud and media services at Telx. “Offering Morphlabs’ solutions in our C3 Cloud Connection Centers gives our Cloud Xchange members an even wider choice of cloud connectivity options.”
