SkillSoft intros new Blended Learning Resources

BANGALORE, INDIA: SkillSoft, a leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider of e-learning and performance support solutions for global enterprises, government, education and small-to-medium-sized businesses, today announced its new Blended Learning Resources, a collection of tools designed to help organizations leverage the instructional content from 100 of SkillSoft’s most popular business skills courses, and through facilitated and guided activities, apply the knowledge gained to their own workplace situations.

Blended Learning Resources have been created for use in conjunction with SkillSoft’s Business Skills Courseware Collection and encourage additional learning and exploration of concepts, tools and techniques presented in the courses.

Blended Learning is a combination of activities, including online learning, classroom instruction or other training modalities to help develop new knowledge and skills and transfer it to the workplace. The focus of the Blended Learning Resources is to help managers present, engage and reinforce with their teams the subject matter contained in SkillSoft’s most popular business skills courses, and to align that learning with the needs of their departments and teams.

SkillSoft’s Blended Learning Resources serve as enhancements to SkillSoft’s existing business courses and each includes:
* Set of PowerPoint slides presenting the core instructional content on the key learning objectives in each course.
* Tools and activities for the presenter/facilitator including practice, reflect and discussion questions.
* For selected courses, a detailed User Guide to assist managers on how to leverage the tools and facilitated activities.
