USA: Kingston Technology Co. Inc. has joined the Open Data Center Alliance (ODCA), an independent consortium comprised of global IT leaders working together to define and deliver a unified set of common standards and the highest level of interoperability for data centers and cloud computing.
Founded in 2010, the ODCA is made up of over 300 worldwide member companies, representing over $100B in annual IT spending. The consortium is led by senior IT executives from some of the world’s most recognized organizations including BMW, China Unicom, Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan Chase, Lockheed Martin, Marriott International, Inc., National Australia Bank, Terremark, Disney Technology Solutions and Services and UBS.
“ODCA is the global organization where hundreds of IT experts from around the world are working together to develop requirements for enterprise cloud and big data implementations that are open, interoperable and secure,” said Marvin Wheeler, executive director, Open Data Center Alliance. “We welcome the expertise Kingston brings to ODCA as a solutions provider member and as a sponsor contributing to the success of Forecast 2013.”
