SPIRIT signs fourth licensing deal with Polycom

MOSCOW, RUSSIA: SPIRIT DSP, the world's top provider of carrier-grade voice and video over IP software communication platforms, has announced today it has signed a fourth contract with Polycom, a global leading conferencing equipment provider.

In this agreement, Polycom has licensed SPIRIT's wideband voice processing product for its multi-platform HD conferencing hardware. SPIRIT products enable Polycom terminals with both crystal clear voice quality in multipoint communication and interoperability with third-party conferencing solutions required for ubiquities cross-network interactions.

“We are happy to supply Polycom with HD-quality media processing, which is also part of SPIRIT's innovative carrier-grade voice and video software platform,” said SPIRIT's chairman Andrew Sviridenko.

“Our TeamSpirit Voice&Video Conferencing Engine is a universal software platform for ubiquitous massively multi-point video over IP communications for carriers, OEMs and service providers, enabling them deliver IP video-conferencing to their clients faster, and compete better with Skype, Google and WebEx.”
