Jusy Hong, senior analyst in Display research group at Displaybank noted: "Japanese makers' benefit from Eco Point program would hit the highest point in November and gradually decrease from December. As applicable model and point are cut in half from December 1, we expect to see large drop in shipments from Japanese makers after December."
Hong continued, "Flat panel TV shipment in November would largely grow due to stabilized inventory from set makers, panel and set price decline and year-end peak season."Source: Displaybank, Monthly FPD TV Shipment Data, Oct 2010.
