DUBAI, UAE: Brocade, the leader in fabric-based networking solutions, has expanded its investment in EMEA with the opening of a regional briefing center (RBC) located in the UK. The new networking solutions center will showcase leading-edge product demonstrations and facilitate discussions for enterprise, campus and service provider customers throughout the EMEA region.
Part of the RBC, Brocade today also opened the Brocade Innovation Centre – a facility where customers can obtain insight into how open-standards networking environments can be designed and deployed, helping them drive business transformation through network innovation. Brocade opened the RBC in a formal ceremony hosted by Brocade CEO Mike Klayko and a number of VIP guests including customers, partners and members of the media.
The Brocade RBC in EMEA is the newest facility in a global network of briefing centers that Brocade maintains to support customer visits in key markets. Brocade already operates an award-winning, world-class facility at its headquarters in San Jose, Calif. that hosted more than 800 customer visits in 2011, a 500 percent increase from the previous year. In February, Brocade also opened a new regional briefing center at its Singapore offices to support customers throughout Asia Pacific (APAC).
