ASUS enters desktop business in India with CM and CG series

NEW DELHI, INDIA: ASUS, the world’s leading motherboard maker, after establishing itself as the No. 1 motherboard brand in India has launched its range of desktops in the country. ASUS has released six different desktop PCs under its CM and CG Series with models featuring Intel's H61 to Z68 Chipsets.

The complete lineup includes CM6731, CM6731 (i3), Essentio CM6830, Essentio CG8250 (i7), Essentio CG8250 (i5) and ROG CG8565 desktops. ASUS desktops are already available globally in Europe, South America and 7 APAC countries - with ASUS being one of the leading desktop brands in Asia.

With the launch of the new desktop range we are aiming to lead the market in the niche hi-end gaming and entertainment PCs segment. ASUS ROG Tytan, high-end gaming desktops with advanced options like single button over clocking will be very attractive for buyers interested in hardcore HD gaming experiences supporting up to three displays in 3D.”

Initially, ASUS’s desktop PCs will be available in tier one and tier two cities. The range will be sold with the help of its channel network and some strategic tie ups with LFRs and retail stores. The channel promotion planned for the new product line includes a 25-city road show for channel partners to feel and experience the product and launch it successfully in the Indian market. The new range of desktops starts from Rs. 20,587/- (excluding taxes) to Rs. 1,07,588/- (excluding taxes) without monitor and other peripherals.
